Ben Stiller Is Starring In Tower Heist
This new film will start shooting in November, 2010. This is about a overworked manager(Ben)of a luxury building. Ben and other staff members all lost alot of money to a Bernie Madoff like wall street crook kind of guy. This thief/crook is being held in a luxury penthouse and is under house arrest. Ben and some of his staff workers will plan a heist to try to get their money back....
Casting Available:
Lester Day: Age 45 to 65/African American will play the Head doorman at the Luxury Towers on Fifth Ave. Lester is gracious, hard-working,honest, warm, and adored by the children in the building. He's been a doorman for 20 years. Lester is devastated that he was swindled out of his life savings by this Bernie Madoff type.
Jamal Dev'Reaux: Age 20 to 30 years old. A elevator operator at the Towers
and just started working there. He hasn't quite grasped the concept of knowing his place. Unfamiliar with the idea of acting deferential or subservient, he has building manager,Josh Kovaks(Ben Stiller), feeling a little unnerved. However, he's a decent guy with a breezy likability, ready to take on the "big leagues."
Mr.Fitzhugh: Age 35 to 45 years old. A Wall Street insider and lives at the Towers. Fitzhug has been rendered penniless due to the financial crisis. He and his family are on the verge of eviction. Although he is an anxious nervous participant in the heist, his participation is relied upon for his business savy and wall street experience.
Mr. Simon: Age in the mid 40s. The boss of Josh(Ben) over at the Towers. He
notices Josh's strange behavior. He immediately fires Josh, Charlie and Dev'Reaux. The boss also has been swindled by Mr. Shaw(The Bernie Madoff type) but still he will not tolerate a gang of vigilantes.(Josh's crew and friends)
Slide: Age in his mid 40s. He is a childhood friend and neighbor of Josh. Slide
runs a local theft ring with authority and intimidation. He and Josh have a tacit
agreement. Josh doesn't say a word when he sees Slide hauling stolen merchandise. Later, Slide consults with Josh who needs some help pulling off the heist.
Rose Demato - is an employee of the Towers. She constantly reminds Josh of the residents' schedules.
Subway Operator: This is a upbeat subway operator who exchanges pleasantries with Josh every single morning.
FBI Agents(2)- needed: These two bored FBI agents are also working with Agent Denham. Both are outraged by Josh's display of vandalism in Shaw's apartment and fear the worst.
FBI Director Mazin: This FBI Director is taken aback by Ms. Perez' request that the defendants be released immediately. He's surprised to learn that the uniform-wearing Ms. Perez is licensed to practice law in the state of New York, even more impressed after studying the evidence she's brought to the table.
